Our Plan
PRESS RELEASE: Local Kids Saving the World One Pet at a Time Spartanburg, SC, Sparkle City Pet Force, a group of Pine Street School kids, have started a local Jane Goodall Roots & Shoots group and need your help! Dr. Jane Goodall challenges children all over the world by asking “How will you make a difference?” These local kids have answered by hosting a Toy Drive for the Spartanburg Humane Society. The Toy Drive will be this Saturday, August 22 from 10am – 2pm at the Vintage Warehouse located at 844 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC. The kids are asking you to bring a new animal toy to share with the dogs and cats at our local animal shelter. The shelter is currently caring for almost 500 pets and desperately needs toys for these animals. We will have lemonade, cookies and hand made "thank yous" for those making a donation and the kids can share with you what they’ve learned this summer. We will also be flying a larger than life peace dove for everyone to enjoy. What will you do to make a difference? Donate a toy! Let’s show these kids they can make a difference!
