The Problem

To save the endangered wildlife in Australia from going extinct.

Our Plan

We are working on various projects: Creating non-fiction informational books on Australia Creating fictional graphic novels depicting the need for Australian wildlife activists Creating posters to stop harm to Australian species Creating fun informational booklets to educate individuals on Australian wildlife Joining Wildlife Warriors Worldwide and completing action items designated by the organization Corresponding with current Australian activist organizations in an effort to find out what is needed by conservation groups that will directly benefit Australian wildlife.

Here is how the project went:

We were able to learn more about Australian Wildlife and what conservation efforts look like, spread awareness of the ailing wildlife in Australia through word of mouth, kangaroo pouches were sewn for Joeys in sanctuaries and zoos, posters to save Australian wildlife were created, we attended Zoom call with Wildlife Warriors to learn about their efforts at Australia Zoo

Through this project I/we learned:

We learned the ongoing efforts of organizations to help the Australian Wildlife thrive in their natural environment as well as captivity. We learned about handmade items that are needed to help Australian Wildlife rehabbers to succeed in the efforts.

What I/we might change:

We may make more of an effort to find out the materials needed for wildlife sanctuaries in Australia

My/our favorite part of this project was:

Our favorite part of this project was talking to the Wildlife Warriors and help to save some of our favorite creatures - Koalas and Kangaroos

Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:

We are hopeful that efforts, not only in Australia, will save the suffering wildlife due to fire, disease, human displacement and other issues.
