The Problem
The whale shark is a slow-moving, filter-feeding carpet shark and the largest known extant fish species. These gentle giants are important to the ecosystem because they help control the oceans plankton levels. the sad fact is that they are on the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Red List, which means they are only three steps away from extinction. Help spread awareness for these incredible mammals.
