We have a wonderful school garden, where we grow vegetables in raised beds and have fruit trees and berry bushes, but everything is hand watered which can be quite wasteful. We would like to install drip irrigation on timers so that our plants get just enough water to thrive, while reducing our overall amount of water used.
We will purchase drip irrigation systems for our garden boxes and fruit trees. Students and parent volunteers will install the system so that our plants don't dry out on breaks or get flooded by improper watering.
