Here is how the project went:
It was amazing! And more than I had hoped for! We raised about $1600 for the manatees and had 38 donations for the silent auction.
Through this project I/we learned:
That hard work really does pay off. And that I have the ability to make a difference on behalf of the things that I believe in.
What I/we might change:
We had more donations than we could use for the Silent Auction. If we did this again we would have fewer items. I would also have a set deadline to accept items.
My/our favorite part of this project was:
My favorite part of the project was giving my presentation to educate about manatees and having my friends get involved to help make it a lot of fun!
