Here is how the project went:
It went really well. We had 52 people sign up and unfortunately had a decent size drop out but were still very happy with the size we had. We packed over 200 sandwiches and snack bags to go along with it to donate to a homeless shelter which.
Through this project I/we learned:
This was my first project working with someone else and I definitely did learn how to work with other people and be a team player. I also learnt how to better manage an event for a bigger group of people.
What I/we might change:
I think I would have set up for the event a little more in the beginning. We thought as people would slowly come in they could help with washing some of the ingredients but everyone kind of came at once and we managed it but it did get a little chaotic.
My/our favorite part of this project was:
My favorite part of the project was seeing how the assembly lines of sandwiches just started to work so efficiently and everything came together. Another part that felt really rewarding was when attendees at the end came up and asked when the next volunteering event was to sign up for.

I'd say that it is really important to plan every small detail of the event.
