We would love to hold a fundraiser to provide Staten Island and Brooklyn veterans with basic necessities, not covered under their stipend. In addition, we would like to beautify our community and honor our late principal who believed that kindness and togetherness are at the heart of our society.
Road to Kindness - Upon the sudden death of our beloved Principal, Phil Carollo, the hashtag #LiveLikePhil was adopted within our walls and within our community. We would like to continue Phil's work with a beautiful rock garden display in the front of our building with a theme of kindness. This is to coincide with the naming of our street in his honor. The project will also contain a charitable donation portion. In addition to the funds you will provide through the grant for the rocks and paint, we will hold a fundraiser and a portion of those proceeds will go to the Ollis Foundation, whom we have been helping all year, to provide basic supplies and necessities to those that should be living in comfort, our veterans.
