To send a message to our wider community about Rethinking, Rearranging and Changing our waste- to become Zero Waste citizens!
In the exhibition REFUSE REFUSE, CTMS presents a series of artworks that comment on our responsibility to strive towards becoming zero waste citizens. Using an array of waste materials, CTMS challenges us to Rethink, Rearrange, and Change our waste, so as to minimise the amount sent to landfill or incineration. The exhibition follows this guide, encapsulated in the central three-part triangle symbol, or ‘Trash Triangle’. Much like a food pyramid, only with waste, the symbol offers a guide to minimising our waste output. We are encouraged to Rethink (refuse and reduce) what we don’t need, Rearrange (reuse) what we do need, and Change (recycle and rot) the rest.
