The Problem
After tackling the styrofoam lunch trays at school, the next step was education. Now that the initial problem is tackled, it\'s even more important to let individuals know how much power they have.

I reached out to the fifth grade teachers to see if they would be willing to let sustainability club volunteers come over and do a presentation with the fifth graders. They agreed! With the help of three friends, I put together a presentation and stations that focused on three principles of sustainability: reducing, reusing, and recycling. Even though there are technically two more (refuse and rot), we decided that three is a good place to start. The stations included a recycling pledge, rock painting for artivism, a race to recycle, a kahoot, and \"the Earth in Jeopardy\". The fifth graders had a great time, and so did the sustainability club!
