The Problem
This year our Roots & Shoots students decided that our town doesn’t have adequate recycling bins around town. They will be doing research and write persuasive letters to our town administrators and Town Board. They will hear from one of our local trash providers so they can understand that our landfills are almost full. This will allow our students to become advocates and leaders in our community so that we can convince our town of the importance of reducing, recycling and reusing our trash.
