The Problem

Our wish is for the students, staff, and families of Herman L Horn Elementary to understand what can be recycled, how to recycle, and the value of recycling. We would also like to make money from recycling, if possible, to use for future "green" projects.

Our Plan

We will recycle plastics, metals, and newspapers in cooperation with the Town of Vinton. We will also recycle Capri Sun juice pouches and Elmer's glue sticks through Terracycle. It is possible to earn money with the Terracycle program.
