Our Plan

We would like to clean up and maintain the space as well as educate the community about the importance of our pond and what it brings to the students and community.

Here is how the project went:

We are still in the planning stages of our project. We are working to find gloves that will be sturdy and fit our students' hands. We are planning a few big events around Earth Day that will include building birdhouses out of reclaimed fencing.

Through this project I/we learned:

How interested our students are in protecting our environment and the diverse wildlife we have spotted wandering around the area.

What I/we might change:

Stretch out the events a little bit to encourage more participation.

My/our favorite part of this project was:

Working with the students to get them involved and to see the world around them.

Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:

We were trying to work with local organizations to keep the money local and to help spread the interest around the community.
