The Problem
The goal of this project is to increase the awareness of our human impact on the environment.
Our Plan
My students will teach others in the school why they should recycle and what they should recycle. First we will use mapping to understand the impact of humans on the school campus. From there, we will create a plan as to how we can create awareness for the whole school. Finally, we will use data to determine if our project is a success. We will do this by graphing the amount of money the school is making from recycling from before we started the program until the end of the year. The project might include writing to the district office and the local Assembly Member to ask for changes to the foam lunch trays.
