I would like to see every after-school organization, library, park and recreation department, and school be able to receive the training and resources they need to connect low-income and under-served children to the natural world through accessible outdoor programs offered outside of the school day.
This project will provide high-quality training for youth program coordinators at various sites throughout Minnesota to be able to develop sustainable out-of-school programs at their sites. To facilitate program planning, each participant completing the training will receive an activity backpack and access to equipment trunks.
