The Problem

Students will create a map of the community and show how their community works and think about whether it is effective for growth. While looking at their community map, they will address the problem of whether their trout and vegetables will have the proper environment to thrive. Students will be releasing their trout in the reservoir in the spring and they will be bale to compare and contrast where the trout spent their first few months to where they will live in the NY Reservoir. Students will also examine the growth of the plants in the woods and their growth and compare it to the growth of their vegetable garden.

Our Plan

Students will map out their community and we will create a 3D version in the classroom and design it so that it looks like a community where people will be able to live and work cohesively, and provide a healthy environment for animals, plants and people can live.
