The Problem
My wish is for my students and I to start a beautiful legacy at our school of environmental knowledge, compassion and teamwork to help our community's pollinator population.
Our Plan
We will plant wildflowers on different unused plots of land around our school. We will track the amount of bees and butterflies in our school's ecosystem and try to increase the population of helpful pollinators. We will also present information to our school community about the declining honey bee and monarch populations and offer ideas to our community about what we can do to help.
