To get everyone to bring in their plastic, mixed paper, and metal recyclables in order to save them from the landfill. There are no recycling centers for a 20-mile radius. We hope that more people will choose to bring their recyclables here instead of sending them to the landfill.
Construct a 4x4x4 box to place outside for recyclable collection. This is the first step towards easing access to recycling facilities. We hope this will encourage people to pressure our local municipalities to put recycling bins for everyone to access. We will monitor how much recycling passes through each week. ~~~~~Update: A total of 168.09 lbs of recycling has been brought in.
