The Problem
We would like to raise money to build a well to provide clean drinking water in communities where currently there is none.
Our Plan
We will launch the project in a whole school assembly and explain what we plan to do. We will then give every child in the school a plastic milk bottle for them to take home and decorate. While the bottle is at home, the children should fill it with pennies donated by their family and friends. The bottles will be displayed in school and there will be prizes for the best decorated bottles in each age group. Money raised will be donated to the Penny Appeal Thirst Relief charity so that a well can be dug in the school's name.
