The Problem

Our projects motivation is to aid local shelters obtain the required materials needed to care for their animals. We wish to coordinate dog food drives in schools around Puerto Rico.

Our Plan

There are an estimated 250,000 dogs in Puerto Rico without a home or family. These dogs have led very hard lives. However, thanks to organizations like Save a Sato, these dogs have a chance at long and happy lives. My sister and me were touched by the acts of kindness this organization has showed the animal of our island. If there is something we learned from the foundations story, there is no better way to help these animals than take action. This is why we created the event Pawsitive Action. From April 1, to May 15, the students from Dorado Academy and other fantastic schools from Puerto Rico will be carrying out a Dog Food Drive like no other. Throughout the next three months we will be promoting the event in many schools, in order to raise awareness and obtain even more food donations. Any dog food brand is welcome. All of the dog food obtained will go to the Save a Sato foundation. We are still looking for more dedicated schools to help, so if you are interested in enrolling your school into this activity, or simply wish to donate or help in any way, feel free to contact me at pawsitiveaction2k@gmail.com. I could find the nearest participating school so you can drop your donation. It would help a lot if you would share our project on Facebook and other social media sites. Thanks so much for your help in advance. Let's help the animals of Puerto Rico! It's time we take Pawsitive Action! - Carlo Bosques, and Claudia Bosques.
