The goal of our global Pangolin Awareness Campaign is to get schools and zoos around the world to participate by hosting a community outreach event where you can share information about the species and about the severity of the poaching and illegal trafficking of pangolins Most people don't know that pangolins are now considered the most poached and trafficked mammal on the planet.
The campaign is simple. All participating zoos and or schools interested in getting involved need to send us a request for the pangolin banner. We will send out a large 12'-foot by 8'-foot banner along with a box of numbered pangolin scales which are printed on sturdy construction paper. We then ask the host of the event to coordinate a Pangolin Awareness event where they will share our presentation materials. Visitors of the zoo/ school with them be allowed to color-in the pangolin scales which are then affixed vie Velcro to the banner. Thais is a great way to engage the local community about the need to save the species before it is too late.
