The Problem
The kids at the local Boys and Girls Clubs were learning about China this week, so I wanted to teach them about China's endangered panda bears.
Our Plan
I will have the children act out a short skit about pandas. There will be lots of panda on the stage, and kids holding bamboo also. As I talk about pandas and the effects of deforestation kids will come up and remove pandas and bamboo from the stage until there are only a few pandas left on the stage. We will then watch a short film about the plight of the pandas, it will reinforce what I taught them in the skit.
