The Problem
We are frustrated with the abundance of liquor stores and processed food options, but lack of the availability of healthy food choices (fresh fruits/vegetables!) in our neighborhood and school community.
Our Plan
My kindergarten class and I are planning on building raised beds in our outdoor classroom so that we can grow vegetables for our class to share with our school families and neighborhood community members. We also want to inform our community of the importance of making healthy food choices.
