The Problem
We are advocates for eradicating homelessness. We wish that all people would ban together to eradicate the condition of homelessness and hunger.
Our Plan
Our project consists of the gathering of new / gently used clothing for veterans and the homeless in the Atlantic City area, as well as making lunches for them. Over the past few months, we have been teaming up with friends from 6 schools in the South Jersey area to collect as many donations as we can and to get them to the people of Atlantic City. When we started we were making around 100 lunches that consisted of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, cookies, and water. Now, in our third month, we are pushing out 400 heartier lunches and able to hand out socks, gloves, hats, blankets, sweaters, and other warm clothing that we have been collecting.
