Operation Christmas Child

The Problem

Years ago at my elementary school, we used to do a drive for Operation Christmas Child, in which you pack shoe boxes with toys, school supplies, and tolietries for kids in need around the world. Every November Operation Christmas Child collects millions of boxes. I wanted to start a drive at my high school and parish.

Our Plan

I posted on social media, sent out emails, and printed information in the parish bulletin. I put a collection bin in the back of the church, and I organized a night with the youth group to go shopping and then pack boxes together.
