We would like to address the issue on our school campus that is our trash separation. Many people are unaware of what waste belongs in each bin. Currently, much of the waste in our recycling bins is not actually recyclable, and some recyclable matter is also thrown into the garbage bin.
We will execute this by seeking permission to put signs on our trash and recycling bins on our school campus, and request the addition of city organic waste bins on campus. Then we will research the trash separation that is standard for our city, and make signs detailing that, so that our community will be aware of which bin their waste must be sorted into.
