The Problem
To prevent turtles on the Lang Tengah Island from going extinct and to fund the technology needed to track the turtles.
Our Plan
We are doing this project to fund a satellite transmitter to track the movement of nesting sea turtles and fund the maintenance of the Lang Tengah Turtle Watch camp. The conservation camp is important as volunteers from all around the world come to help release the turtles safely into the oceans and rescue turtles from egg poachers. All notebooks are uniquely hand drawn with love by Hui-Lin, an avid artist who has volunteered at LTTW for a week in the summer of 2017. All proceeds from the sale of this lovely hand illustrated notebook will fund the conservation works under Lang Tengah Turtle Watch and Roots & Shoots Malaysia Hui-Wen will also be making a short video to document her time at Lang Tengah Island and about the endangered turtles!
