To update the Memorial Garden/Reading Garden. To provide students an opportunity to beautify the memorial garden and to create an inviting area for students to come and read at supervised times. This will allow students to reflect on their reading in an outdoor environment.
Purchase plants, potting soil and planting materials to update the existing area. The Student Council will be used to help with the planting and clean up of the area. The Memorial Garden/Reading Garden is located near the media center and front office where visitors can see the garden. The Memorial Garden/Reading Garden was constructed to remember students who have passed away. Often, their families will visit the area for a time of reflection.
