The Problem

People each year throw 50 billion pieces of garbage on the ground and in the water. This causes lots of animals to die, clogs and pollutes water systems, and kills or stunts plant growth.

Our Plan

Our project will be to walk around every once and a while and pick up a bunch of trash. We will try to reduce the number of trash thrown on the ground and water each year.

That picking up trash helps the environment and makes you feel accomplished.

What I/we might change:

I would change the location. By our house it isn't that trashy, so if we were to go to a place that was messier we would've helped out more and got more done in the same amount of time.

My/our favorite part of this project was:

My favorite part was the feeling of helping the environment.

Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:

If you have a sibling play a game of whoever picks up the most trash wins.
