The wish for this project is that young people will have the opportunity to explore the diversity of nature around Buenos Aires through a series of exploration activities — an “urban safari” — of everything from the most urban of parks to local wildlife sanctuaries.
Students will make observations of the nature around them, participate in educational activities at each site, and learn about projects that protect nature. At each site they will document their experience in an explorer logbook and be encouraged to share their stories on a personal blog. From each field trip they will also take a series of follow up activities they can do at home that are connected with the lessons from each experience.
