The Problem
To engage children in respect for wildlife, learning how to recycle fishing line, observing condition of ponds and streams, renew turtle basking rafts as needed.
Our Plan
Go to a variety of wildlife habitats, identify wildlife by sound, sight, and scent. Collect fishing line from recycle bins and recycle it. Test pond and stream water to see extent of pollution. Check on condition turtle rafts and replace as necessary. Determine if native turtles re using it or invasive turtles.
