The Problem

We are determined to bring to life a Native Plant Garden on our campus. We do not have a garden at our school and would like to create a native plant garden to help restore our watershed and create a welcoming environment for all the students at Holmes Middle School.

Our Plan

This project will help determine how we can plant native plants to restore our watershed, by designing and installing a native plant garden. We will begin by learning about native plants, assessing the soil by conducting soil tests, designing our garden and having a planting event.
