The Problem

Children like me won't know about orangutan conservation and making good choices unless someone helps us learn.

Our Plan

We will have an "Orangutan Growing Party" for Noah's fifth birthday! We will show others the wonder of orangutans and how to help protect them. Noah also wants his birthday too be a way to teach his friends about "vegan food and Greenwise (organic) food." The party food will be vegan, organic and as waste-free as possible. We will have an orangutan cake, designed by the birthday boy. Activities will include painting bird/squirrel feeders for the garden, painting canvas collection bags for all the treasures little ones find, and mindful yoga. Noah wants to replicate Borneo Orangutan Survival USA's Yoga retreats! We will even have a guest appearance of Beni the orangutan in our game "Pin the Banana on Beni." Guests will receive a native tree as a party favor and we will adopt an orangutan from BOS USA as his gift. Happy Birthday to our own "orangutan child", Noah Emerson!
