I would like to see our school garden fully integrated into our school curriculum and the bounties of the garden shared with local food panties. The garden will serve as an inspiration for our students to create similar gardens at home and within the community.
The Mustang School garden will serve as a living classroom for our students to develop a better understanding of agriculture, health and nutrition as well as community responsibility. The work required to maintain the garden is shared across the grades. The germination, planting and harvesting of the crops is also shared across the grades so that each grade is able to take part in the process.
