The Problem

We wanted to raise awareness between music and the enviroment for young students. We understood how the enviroment may be reflected in music, and wanted to streghten collaboration skills.

Our Plan

We underestood how music can be used to raise awareness about the enviroment, and gained collaboration skills. We did this through an interactive presentation at the start for some theory, and then played music together. Students sang, played drums, and xylophones. They collaborated. Introduction about how Environment can be used to create music. How can music be inspired and be created by the earth? Students will form groups and within nature to create sound, and to play a musical cover. +How nature connects to music, guess the nature sound game, importance of respecting nature.

Here is how the project went:

It went really well! Students collaborated and understood how the enviroment can be voiced out through music.

Through this project I/we learned:

We learned how to play music with different instruments together with younger children, and how the enviroment can be conveyed through music.

What I/we might change:

We would maybe add more instruments, and would want more time to practice playing more with the instruments!

My/our favorite part of this project was:

Working with different insturments and different people.

Some tips, tricks or fun facts about the project:

Ensure you have a range of diverse instruments for this project!
