Our wish is improve the quality of life through therapeutic music performance at a variety of neighborhoods, facilities, hospitals, and schools throughout the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles County. Specifically we would like to focus on the quality of life of veterans and senior citizens.
The Taft High School Drumline will hold a series of music and rhythm holiday performance to spread good cheers and benefit the neighborhood community near William Howard Taft High School, a diverse, Title I-funding eligible public school in the Los Angeles Unified School District. The programs will be lead by music and rhythm leaders who are experienced with marching band or ensemble drumming. Participants are youths and senior citizens and will number from 40-50 each session.
