We want to make people recognise that waste thrown into the ocean won't fall to ashes the moment ist gets contact to water. Plastics for example form a new continent, swimming in the sea, an area as big as India... Wir möchten die Menschen aufmerksam machen, dass der Müll der ins Meer geworfen wird nicht einfach weg ist, sobald er die Wasseroberfläce berührt. Plastikmüll treibt als neuer Kontinent mit einer Fläche vergleichbar mit der von Indien im Meer!
14 year old teens wrote letters suggesting solutions for the problem with the new "plastic-continent". They got many ideas for recycling, financing such programmes.... We as the Roots&Shoots-Team fused the letters and want so send it to the UNO-Headquarters in Germany, waiting for a reaction. We will see... 14-Jährige schrieben Briefe zu dem Thema und sollte Lösungen für das Plastik-Problem suchen. Ihnen sind auch einige innovative Ideen eingefallen, die das Recycling oder auch die Finanazierung solcher Programme betrifft... Wir als Roots&Shoots-Team haben die Briefe zusammengeschrieben und möchten sie nach Bonn an das UN-Hauptquartier für Deutschland schicken. Wir warten auf eine Reaktion...
