The Problem
We hope to educate the community of Steamboat Springs about mountain lions - awareness of the animal itself, how to avoid human/pet/mountain lion interactions, and what to do if you see a mountain lion.
Our Plan
We will provide information about mountain lions in our community and their habitat by creating a webpage, writing letters to the editor of our local newspaper, hosting an assembly at our school about mountain lions, creating artwork and posters with information about mountain lions and hopefully installing a sign at a popular trailhead about what to do if one sees a mountain lion.
