The Problem

Our school garden is student-led and grant-funded. Our mission is to donate our produce to local food banks to fight food insecurity in our area.

Our Plan

This year, students decided that they would like to complete two projects. 1. Our school garden has become part of the butterfly highway. We would like to increase the number of native pollinator plants in our garden to support local biodiversity and grow better produce. 2. Our blackberry garden has been incredibly successful the last two years. We would also like to expand to include grapes. This produce can be used as picked or preserved for future use.
