The Problem

Miss Virginia's Food Pantry, often referred to as simply "Miss Virginia's", has long been a place of refuge for those in need of a helping hand. Located in the former residence of Virginia Schrantz, where for over forty years she opened her heart and her home to any in need, the food pantry helps an average of 950 families per week. It is the CELEBRATING MISS VIRGINIA Honoring Her Legacy of Helping Those in Need & Continuing Her Mission to End Hunger program's mission to continue Miss Virginia's work selflessly serving the less fortunate by providing balanced and nutritional food to families in need of assistance.

Our Plan

Our mission is to collect goods from canned foods to fresh produce, from around our community, to donate to Miss Virginia's. We also volunteer at annual food drives, fundraisers, and other events aiding the food pantry.
