The Problem
The kids decided to focus their efforts on a project that will help the 50 children in two local children's homes with some of their basic needs.
Our Plan
These children are typically pulled out of their homes in the middle of the night without any of their personal belongings. Things that we take for granted such as socks, underwear, toiletries and a duffle bag to carry their belongings in are things these children have to do without. Duffle bags are costly so in addition to fund raising we have applied for a mini grant. We would have to ask the community to donate the items to go in the bags. We plan on setting up an event so that the children can decorate their own duffle bags with fabric paint so that it is truly unique and something they can call their own.
