I wish to make Santa Rita a community eco-conscious, peaceful and beautiful. It's time to make a difference and if everyone puts a small grain of sand we might get to make a huge difference in how people feel by living, studying or simple passing by Río Piedras.
My project will consist of making or tending to the landscapes in Río Piedras, as well as providing food for the homeless people and stray animals, recollecting unwanted electronics that can be reused or recycled, making pedestrian crossing problems more aware to the mayor, etc... It is my belief that the environment plays a role on human behavior and that by making Río Piedras more cleaner and beautiful with plants, this will have a positive impact on people's everyday behavior.
