The Problem

We want a low and kid maintained garden.

Our Plan

We start by mapping the garden and then asking the children what they want their garden to do (functions) and look like. Here is our club schedule 2:45: Attendance and healthy snack (to be provided, if your child has no water bottle, we will remind the children to drink from the water fountain) 3:00 Lesson on planting for the fall 3:15 Planting garlic bulbs, rhubarb and blueberries 3:45 Tidy up the garden 4:00 Dismissal Last week we harvested sweet potatoes with youth leader Olivia Colombo who came from Massachusetts and talked to the children about the Jane Goodall Foundation. Here is the link to that video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnUVdOGBOys&feature=youtu.be October 26 November 9 Meetings on (4) four Wednesdays in the Spring March 29 April 26 May 10 (May Plant Sale) May 24]
