The Problem
We hope to increase health, promote local & organic produce and restaurants who serve these foods, and have fun! We will learn more about our UNESCO City of Gastronomy (Tucson), and the many special ingredients here like cactus, chilies and mesquite honey and ancient foods. As we share our food and recipes, we will also learn about other cultures that heavily rely on vegetarian dishes. We hope to raise awareness about why raising/processing meat on a large scale is harmful to our environment and our bodies, and that there are many delicious options for meatless menus to add to your diet.
