The Problem
There are not enough plants and community gardens present in the neighborhood surrounding P.S.191. With Springtime approaching fast, NYJTL@PS191 will like to liven up our neighborhood, school, and the lives of our participants.
Our Plan
The action we plan to take is to supply our students with the necessary gardening tools in order to create their own school garden. Gardening tools include planter boxes, seeds, fertilizer, soil, watering cans and more. Teaching them to garden will grant our participants the opportunity to create and sustain life.
