The Problem
Lack of access to affordable, healthy foods in Oceanside neighborhoods where nearly half of local families with children under age 18 are at risk with incomes below the poverty level.
Our Plan
We plan to build ocean friendly, sustainable gardens that will supply free, healthy vegetables. The gardens will also teach the children vocational skills and offer them opportunities to learn about soil conservation and recycling.
