Financial Literacy among our youth
Our Plan
At LIT (Learn, Initiate, Transform) our mission is to empower youth through comprehensive education in financial literacy, technology and general academics. We believe that by equipping young people with the knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of the modern world, we can help them build a brighter future for themselves. Through our programs we aim to foster a culture of life long learning, innovation and responsible financial management, ensuring that young people are prepared to thrive in an increasingly technological and interconnected world. We will host a back to school event distributing toiletries such as deodorant, lotion, body wash, toothpaste and toothbrushes and giving free haircuts. We will also have a financial expert discussing financial literacy and mathematical applications. We will provide a meal and snacks. These are topics not discussed with disadvantaged youths causing them to not be prepared when they enter the workforce and adulthood.
