Our campaign will address the problem of senior care companionship. In our hometown, Oro Valley, one fourth of the population is 65 and older, with 7 assisted living facilities. Many of these seniors spend their days watching TV, lacking active interaction with young people.
We will host a monthly series of music recital performances at various senior care homes. Many dementia patients at care homes lack the brain stimulation that our music will provide. Music from multiple generations will be performed allowing seniors to reminisce their past. Seniors will also be invited to join the music performances. Our music will span generations and connect people of all different backgrounds.
