My wish for this project is to help young adolescence get involved with their local animal shelters and help said animals get their forever homes. This means starting a program allowing students of all ages to volunteer at an animal shelter.
For my project, I have already created a local Youth program at my local animal shelter that previously didn't allow those under 18 to join, but by demonstrating my passion and love of animals, I was able to pull some strings. My wish is that other kids 18 and younger do the same and make a difference in their community to not only inform them, but help the animals and shelters out as well.
