Our wish is to fill gently used backpacks with school supplies and send them to a slum in Kenya. A team of mission workers will take the backpacks with them in the summer of 2016. We hope to fill 400+ backpacks with school supplies for kids who have almost nothing.
We hope that the backpacks that we send to Kenya will touch the hearts of the kids who receive them. We will have two drives for people to donate backpacks. The drives will be at Trinity Christian School in Fairfax and McLean Presbyterian Church in McLean at the summer camp our church runs called Vacation Bible School. We will then fill the backpacks with school supplies and send them to Kenya.
