The Problem
Have our children visit the California Costal Horse Rescue Center in Ojai, California. Have the children donate books to read to the horses, help groom the horses, and make a connection with these beautiful animals.
Our Plan
The children will take a fieldtrip to the horse rescue center. The children will be introduced to the horses and taught how to care for the animals. Give the children time to make a connection with the horses. The children will go thru our books in our classroom and choose the ones to take to the horses. Learn how the horses respond to them reading to them.
